Where the figures come from

The locality tools say how many feeds back an answer and how confident it is (freshness). The price series behind them is published month by month, and each month says which kinds of source back it. Calculators use state-published rates, and livability is labelled an editorial estimate in the response itself. For our right to use a source, ask the source-rights endpoint below — no account, no token, and no row-level data.

Which sources backed a given month?

The price series behind the locality tools is published month by month. Each month carries a sources summary: whether AVnester’s own listings contributed, how many listing portals did, whether a published rate page did, and whether the month is fill between two measured months.

Changed on 29 September 2026: portalCount replaced portals, which named them; its value is the length that list had.

Pass both parameters: without them the endpoint answers with a default series, not yours. interpolated is null when a month declares neither way — read it as unknown, not as measured.

What is AVnester’s basis for using a source?

Ask for one source by key and the endpoint returns the basis we have recorded for using it, with the attribution to show and any licence reference.

Keys it answers: rera-tn, tnreginet. Any other key is a 404, never a guess.

partnershipType is read live rather than restated here, because it moves: a source becomes a licensed one the day an agreement is signed, and a value copied into documentation would keep asserting the old basis. Questions about a source: partnerships@avnester.com.
